The AUTOMATIC X is the world’s most technically advanced and uniquely easy-to-use vacuum cleaner!  Available in two powerhead widths, the 12" X7 and 15" X8 feature truly automatic height adjustment, using an electronic controller that measures the resistance of the spinning brush roller against the floor surface to signal up or down adjustments, which ensures optimal performance on both carpets and hard floors.  The user is also alerted to clogs, a worn brush, or a full bag, and the vacuum automatically shuts off when brush obstructions occur to protect the motor and belts from damage.  The X also has an instant-use cleaning wand and suction hose, a lifetime belt warranty, tool-free brush roller removal, a 40-foot power cord, and three on-board attachments.

The X7 Premium model offers a choice between two modes of automatic brush agitation!  The default setting is perfect for most flooring types, but by pressing the Brush-mode Button, greater resistance of the spinning brush roller against the floor is allowed before height adjustments are made, which causes more aggressive and deeper brush action.  The X7 Premium and X8 models also have an LED headlight to help illuminate the cleaning path.  However, the red X7 model does not have an LED headlight, and both the red X7 and X8 do not include a Brush-mode Button. Another model option, the X7 Premium PET, is only available in retail stores through our Medalist Dealers.  The PET model is additionally equipped with a hand-held turbo brush, a nine-foot extension hose, and a charcoal anti-odor microfilter that absorbs pet odors.
